103.5 THE BOMB INTERNSHIPS
Have you ever wanted to be in radio? 103.5 The Bomb, Sacramento’s Official Hip Hop Station, is searching for team workers for the 103.5 Bomb Squad.
The KBMB Promotions Department Internship Program is an excellent opportunity for college students to gain valuable experience in the promotion and marketing aspects of radio. If you are an outgoing, energetic, dynamic, fun, enthusiastic, hard working, and organized people-person, then The Bomb’s promotions department is looking for you!
As a member of the Bomb Squad, your duties include interacting with listeners, assisting with station concerts and events, internet research projects, and more.
KBMB is now looking for interns for the summer term. Internships require an applicant to be receiving academic credit for the internship--it is the applicant’s responsibility to set up the internship with the school. All intern positions are unpaid and you must be 18 years of age or older. You must be able to commute to and from the KBMB office, and some nights and weekends are required.
Full Internship Requirements
- Enrolled into a college internship program
- Work for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be interested in broadcasting
- Must be a team player
- Able to lift audio set up (40 lbs or more)
